First visited Almora on 30–31 Jan 2026 for site selection in pine and oak dominated forest. Returned again on 14–22 Feb 2026 to install a CCFC PhenoCam with meteorological sensors — PAR, wind, soil moisture, relative humidity, temperature, precipitation, etc.

During our visit, we also observed early Rhododendron flowering that typically expected in April–May; and included the tree in our camera's field of view.

We participated in the NRSC Offline EO Data Processing Challenge from 03 June 2025 to 06 July 2025. Our aim was to develop an automated cloud and shadow masking model for Resourcesat-2/2A LISS-IV satellite images using open-source tools.

We were awarded Second Winner in the competition and received certificates along with a scale model of LVM3 as a memento.

Attended the AI Impact Pre-Summit (#100Startups100Days) organized by iHub-AWaDH at IIT Ropar. Our startup Bhoomicam Private Limited was awarded a grant support of ₹2 Lakhs.

We also had the privilege of meeting Prof. HC Verma, a renowned physicist and a great teacher who made physics interesting in our school times with his books.

Presented my PhD research at GeoSmart India 2025, one of Asia's premier geospatial conferences.

I had the opportunity to network and share insights on vegetation phenology monitoring using multi-sensor approaches with my collegues from Shiv Nadar University - Dr. Ghanshyam Giri, Manoj Yadav, Apoorva Yadav and junior from MANIT, Bhopal - Pournima.

Our startup Bhoomicam, led by Prof. Siddhartha Khare, has been selected among the TOP 6 startups nationwide for Stage 2 of the NCIIPC Startup India AI Grand Challenge 2025.

As part of this national recognition, Bhoomicam has received a ₹3 lakh prize and a ₹5 lakh development grant.
